This is the recruiting center for the New Jedi, Guardians of the New Republic. The New Republic trying to be as much like the Old Republic as possible.  Which put its first step as defensive procedure has rebuilt the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to train New Jedi as guardians to the Republic.  The defense was needed to protect the citizens of New Republic from what's left of the once indestructible Galactic Empire.  After the Alliance destroyed the second Death Star along with the Emperor and Darth Vader,  the last Sith (That we know of) Admiral Thrawn of the Imperial Fleet defending Coruscant promoted himself to Grand Admiral and took whats left of the Imperial Fleet and Systems Loyal to the Old Empire and is trying to Reclaim the "order" that was once the Empire.  Your task as Jedi is to prevent Grand Admiral Thrawn from doing just that.
