Jedi Master Janus Bryce was Luke Skywalker's Apprentice.  When the Jedi were destroyed and only Luke and Leia were the only with force capabilities, an Apprentice of  Jedi Master Jourck Thirc, before Thirc was killed by Vader that is. Bryce, only a young Trainee, hid from Vader on Corellia and joined a Small Group of Smugglers. Janus left his training with him on Coruscant in the Jedi Academy.  He had almost lost all memories of his training until when he and his group was working for Luke to smuggle weapons and minerals to help rebuild the Jedi when Luke rediscovered his capabilities and took Bryce on as his Apprentice.  Other than that not much is known of Master Janus his parents have been forgotten no one know more but rumors.
